A policeman died at work mysteriously this morning. Foul play is not suspected but 45 year old Constable Mitchell Cob collapsed in the parking lot and was found dead by another cop. Police told us more:

"The police report is that sometime around 10p.m., I believe, last night, while police were patrolling the compound, a male person dressed in police uniform was seen lying between some vehicles in the compound and upon the officer's examination the person was identified to be police constable Mitchell Cobb who seemed to have been motionless. As a result, he was removed and taken to the Corozal Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival."

"Were there any known pre-existing health issues that anyone at the station or in the command was aware of?"

"No, I am not aware of that."

"No, no signs of injuries."
A post mortem confirmed that he died of a heart attack secondary to coronary artery disease. He was the father of 3.
