Tonight, the family of San Narciso businessman Omero Campos is in a state of panic. The 43 year old businessman has still not returned home after going missing from his farm on Sunday afternoon. When police went there, they only found his tractor in the middle of a field with the key still in it.
The family says they have received calls from a Mexican number on Sunday - reportedly demanding a million US dollar ransom in exchange for his release.
Today, his family home in the community was quiet as family gathered to support each other during the difficult times.
Police were present at the Campos home, offering protection and support to the family as they went through the ordeal. The cops are also canvassing the community for information.
There is information that the family was hoping to do an exchange to get their loved one back this afternoon, but all indications are that this was not successful for reasons unknown.
