Tonight we have an update on Anke Doehm's case in the Supreme Court. As you all will remember, Doehm and her husband David were charged with child cruelty after police found their adopted 13 year old daughter Faye Lin Canon dead in their Northern Ambergris Caye condo. That was on July 3rd 2017. Since then a lot has happened in and outside of court - including David's suicide in October 2017. Now Doehm has to face the courts on her own. Anke Doehm's case was committed to stand trial at the Supreme Court. Her case was to be heard in the June session but she is yet to be indicted. No further adjournment date was set. She is out on Supreme Court bail which was granted to her shortly after the allegation was made against her and her husband. Doehm was represented by attorney Richard "Dickie" Bradley. He expects her to be indicted later this month.
