Kellogs Honey Smacks Of Salmonella
posted (June 22, 2018)
If Kellogs Honey Smacks is your breakfast cereal of choice, you need to take a break and throw out whatever amount you have stored up. That's because the Ministry of Health warns that Honey Smacks has been linked to a salmonella outbreak in the US.

One week ago, the Centres for Disease Control issued an advisory recommending that people do not eat Kellogg's Honey Smacks Cereal Products of any size or with any "best if used by" date.

The Ministry of Health notes that the tainted batch has been distributed in the US, and some were exported to Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, the Caribbean (including Belize), Guam, Tahiti, and Saipan.

The Public Health Department is on heightened surveillance for the presence of this cereal and batch series in Belize. But the best rule is, don't eat any Kellogg's Honey Smacks Cereal. And if you see it at the supermarket or grocery store, report it to the Ministry of Health or nearest Public Health Department.
