Post Mortem Confirms Suicide For Man Who Died In Custody
posted (June 27, 2018)

On Monday, we told you about Lindberg Anthony, the 55 year-old Crooked Tree Villager who died while in police custody over the weekend. The cops say he committed suicide while he was detained in the Village Police sub-station, but his family refused to accept that, demanding a full investigation.

Well, police have released the results of the post-mortem examination, which was conducted yesterday.

Dr. Mario Estradabran has certified that Anthony died from asphyxiation due hanging, and that it was suicide.

Police say that they detained him on Saturday night, because he was allegedly behaving drunk and disorderly. He was placed in the holding cell of the Crooked Tree Station, and less than 2 hours later, he was found hanging from a cloth around the neck.

His family has disputed the police account.
