Two months ago we told you how elite cyclist Brandon Cattouse had tested Positive for a banned substance. At the time we were told he had been placed on a provisional indefinite suspension by the National Anti Doping Association until his hearing is held.
But, reports to 7News this evening are that Cattouse has served an injunction on the Cycling Federation at a technical meeting just a few minutes ago - forcing them to allow him to ride in the National Road Championship on Sunday.
It seems he is challenging his suspension in the courts - and is now using the injunction - since he was banned from last week's time trial championship.
It will be interesting if the Federation allows him to ride - since the suspension comes from NADO, not the Federation. We'll let you know tomorrow.
