Family Dispute At Party Leads To Stabbing

And, finishing up with crime news - there was a vicious stabbing at a family function in Roaring Creek last night when a pair of siblings got into an argument. Police explained what happened:...

"Police responded to the western regional hospital on Saturday 30th June around 12:15am where one Nelson Twist, 45 year old Belizean of Roaring Creek Village was observed with multiple stab wounds to the body. Initial investigation revealed that Mr. Twist was at his residence when he got into an altercation with his sister and as a result two male persons known to him intervened where he was beaten up and he received some 7 stab wounds during the process. He is in a stable condition. Police are seeking these two suspects in regards to this investigation."

Even though it is a sibling rivalry, the victim has told police he will cooperate.
