Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner and his Administration at the Belize City Council did not exactly part ways amicably with the former City Administration, Candice Miller. In fact, she's filed suit against them for an unjustified termination. But tonight, the council is reporting that it has found her replacement.
The new City Administrator is Stephanie Lindo Garbutt, and a press release from City Hall says, quote, "Mrs. Lindo-Garbutt comes to City Hall with a proven track record as a top performer in complex business environments in both the private and public-sector management..." End quote.
CitCo says that her applied work experience in sustainable project management, and her achievements in strategy and change management are key assets that will support the Bernard Wagner Administration carry out it's 3-year mandate.
The statement from City Hall ends by saying that Lindo-Garbutt will create an enabling environment for "effective communications, teamwork and cross functional development".
