Serial Molester To Stand Trial, Again

40 year-old John Leslie, who has face multiple charges in connection with child molestation, has been ordered by the Magistrate's Court to stand trial in the Supreme Court for 2 counts of sexual assault, and 1 count of unlawful sexual intercourse.

That was the decision that Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford made after holding a preliminary inquiry to consider whether or not there is enough evidence against him. Leslie, who is currently serving 5 years for sexual assault against a 5 year-old toddler, is accuse of sexually assaulting an 11 year-old child in Ladyville in July of 2016. He is also accused of forcing himself on the child in August 2016 .

When the court asked him if he will be calling any witnesses in his defense, he told the court that he intends to call his wife and a friend to testify on his behalf. The Senior Magistrate has committed him to stand trial in the October Sessions of the Supreme Court.
