Tonight, there is a very disturbing case of sexual abuse coming out of the family court: a 13 year-old boy is accused of sodomizing his 5-year-old female cousin.
The girl told police that on Tuesday, she and her older cousin were at her family home, and they started playing "mommy and daddy" after their parents went to bed. That game turned from innocent to disturbing when her cousin allegedly made her lie down on the floor where he sodomized her. The child's mother woke up, caught the 13 year-old in the act, and immediately called the police.
He was arrested and charged with one count of rape, and he was arraigned today before a family court magistrate. He has been remanded to the Youth Hostel until August 29, 2018, his next court date.
