He may be on crutches, but 27 year old Jahnon Trapp of Esperanza Village is out on bail after he was arraigned at the San Ignacio Magistrate's Court earlier this week for an attempted robbery. According to reports he was shot during the incident - and Trapp used the crutches because of gunshot wound on his right leg.
The incident occurred last week Thursday on June 28th at a Chinese grocery store. He was subsequently arrested and arraigned in San Ignacio where he was denied bail. Today he was successful in his application for bail of $6,000 plus two sureties of $3,000 each. As a result he will be spending his days at home while his case is in process, with the condition of course that he attends all his court hearings and that he presents himself to the San Ignacio police station every Friday, effective July 13th.
