Many Belizean fans of telenovelas have been on star search since yesterday after megastar of the genre, Kate del Castillo appeared in Belize.
Del Castillo is known particularly for her lead role in the telenovela "La Reina del Sur".
Well this week the team of producers and actors are in Belize to film a few scenes for La Reina del Sur part 2 scheduled to air in 2019. Yesterday she was spotted at the Belize International Airport. Some immigration officers and other's present that recognized the star didn't pass up the opportunity to take pictures with her. That was yesterday, and today she was spotted filming at the Xunantunich archaeological reserve in the Cayo district.
Unofficial reports are that Del Castillo and the entire film crew will be here up until Sunday. Those same unofficial reports say that she will then be moving on to Colombia to continue shooting the 2nd season of La Reina del Sur.
