Tesecum, The Survivor Conscious and Talking
posted (July 13, 2018)
One other man who's recovering at the hospital is shooting victim Michael Tesecum. He's the 41 year-old Tibruce Street resident who was gunned down on Wednesday night, a stone's throw away from his home.

He was walking on the street when someone ambushed him and shot him to the back, the stomach and the left foot.

He was rushed to the KHMH, and doctors were able to stabilize him and save his life yet again. After spending 2 days in intensive care, he is conscious and talking coherently. In fact, we got a chance to speak with him on the telephone, and he told us that he would prefer not to give any interviews discussing his shooting at this time.

This is Tesecum's second near fatal injury inflicted due to violence. As we reported, on December 18th of last year, he was on the job at the as a sanitation worker for the Belize City Council, when he and a co-worker, Dennis Bowden, got into some hard talk on the work bus. Bowden pulled a machete and chopped Tesecum in the head.

He now struggles with a very serious eye injury from that chopping.
