He survived a butane explosion and received burns to 70% of his body, but Grayson Cadle is reported to be going strong after five rounds of surgery at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Yvette Burks from the Burn Victim Mercy Fund reports that Doctors are optimistic because he is recovering from each successive round of surgery. She says his chances of doing well are excellent and Doctors are really hopeful.
And while that is one upside, the Burn Victim fund raised less than a hundred dollars for this mission of mercy. That's right, less than one hundred - when the air ambulance flight alone was 42 thousand dollars.
