Last night we told you about the burglary at Portofino Beach Resort, on northern Ambergris Caye. Early on Sunday morning, a robber made off with two safes containing about 16 thousand dollars in Belize and US currency.
Police caught their suspect not far from the hotel and recovered about nine thousand dollars.
Well, today, that suspect was charged. He is Israel Murillos, a 33-year-old, caretaker. He has been charged for Burglary.
