Tonight a teenager is in custody after he allegedly robbed a tortilla factory with a toy gun.
The 17 year old and two others reportedly robbed Shorty's tortilla factory on C Street - which is just off Baymen Avenue on the northside.
Police have not released details, but the minor was caught shortly after with a toy gun. The youth may also be a suspect in the robbery of a nearby barber shop. We'll have more for you on this tomorrow.
In other late breaking news, there are credible reports that a police pickup flipped multiple times in the area of Belize Rural North around Sandhill this evening. Reports so far say that more than one officer was inside, but thankfully, there are no reports of serious injury. Again those are initial reports, we'll have more as information becomes available…
