"Some time this morning, just after 5:30am, Ladyville police acting upon information, visited a road that is near the Haulover Bridge just before entering Belize City and about 300 yards inside the road, police found suspected blood on the street. They also found a grey short pants, a pair of slippers and a cap. A further distance about another 400 meters, police found a red Ford Ranger pickup with Belize City licensed plates abandoned and about 400 meters opposite the pickup, they found the motionless body of a male person with several stab wounds to the chest, abdomen and to the back and left side of his hand. The male person has just been identified by a family member as that of Samuel Elias Cosme, of a Mahogany Street address. "Have the family been able to give any sort of information as to where he may have gone after they last saw him?"

ASP Alejandro Cowo
"All what they have gathered so far from the family was that he was socializing with some friends and he told them that he was going to visit some workers in the Ladyville area, in Lords Bank area and that was the last time they heard from him."

Reporter
"We've understood that police may be looking for one person in connection with this gentleman. Is that accurate?"

ASP Alejandro Cowo
"We are looking specifically for a female person that we believe was in the company of him."

According to our sources, police have a known suspect.
