The cops also discussed last week Thursday night's murder of Raymond Arnold. He's the stevedore who was gunned down while riding his bicycle on Central American Boulevard.
Arnold was traveling with another stevedore when a man rode up on a motorcycle and shot him from behind to the chest and abdomen. He died within hours at the KHMH.
Today, we asked police about his murder, and here's what the cops had to say:

"On Thursday 19th July, at 7:10pm, police responded to shots being fired at Central American Boulevard somewhere in the vicinity where the Pepsi warehouse is located and as a result they observed a male person by the name of Raymond Arnold. Police observed that he had 2 apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital and he was admitted in a critical condition. Unfortunately and sadly he passed away minutes after some time after 1pm the following night. What police have gathered so far is that Mr. Raymond Arnold had just left his work from the Port and was riding his bicycle along with another friend and upon reaching the Pepsi place they were approached by a male person who was riding a motorcycle who came from behind and fired 2 shots at his direction causing the above injuries."
Street sources had suggested to 7News that Arnold's murder may be connected to a previous shooting which happened 2 days prior, where a 13 year-old female minor was grazed by a bullet. Police said that their investigation shows no such connection - and other sources also advise us that the 13 year old's shooting is the result of another, totally unrelated dispute.
