And back in Belize City, 22 year-old Royan Mendez, a Yabra Road resident, was shot at by men who police believe he knows.
That happened on Saturday afternoon at around 3:00, and police say that he and other family members were standing in front of Sunshine Pre-School, on Regent Street, when 2 men approached him.

As soon as Byron Jeffords and Charles Robert Myles are arraigned for aggravated assault, we'll tell you about it. Jeffords has been in the news a number of times as a shooting victim.
