Sometime after five yesterday morning police discovered the lifeless body of 44 year old Samuel Elias Cosme around mile five and a half on the northern highway. In last night's news, police said that they were looking for a female whom they believe was last seen in his company. Cosme, a resident of an address off Holy Emanuel Street, was found yesterday morning with multiple stab wounds to his chest, abdomen and to the back and left side of his hand. His empty red pickup truck was also discovered a short distance away from his body.
So, what is the nature of the female suspect's involvement? Well, when we spoke to the family today they declined to comment on camera. However, Cosme's brother, he believes he was lured to his death by the same female whom police sought for questioning. And the motive, according to the brother, was jealousy.
By all accounts Samuel Cosme was a hard working man. He was employed as a construction worker with his younger brother. He leaves behind a wife and three children, the youngest of whom is three years old.
