And Martinez has his colleague Beverly Williams to thank for the reunion. She's the matchmaker who filled in a 50 year gap in information with a phone call this morning. She told us how it went:..

"Miss Sonia visited me last week, as most constituents do and I was speaking to her and she kinda told me. She asked me not to say anything. She didn't want to appear like an exploiter. Somehow I just blurted it out. I thought it was something that Minister [Boots] should know and I didn't know it was going to have this effect, but I'm glad that Minister has closure as he says and that Miss Sonia finally met Minister."
Hon. Anthony "Boots" Martinez
"To me it was quite emotional this morning. I broke down. Tears of joy, tears of happiness - like when you would say you want closure. Here comes the closure."
Reporter
"They have formed a family bond."
Hon. Beverly Williams
"But I'm a part of that family, so don't get it twisted and Miss Sonia is not going anywhere before you ask me that question. Look at the hat."
And to bring this weird string of coincidences full circle, while we were visiting the old property on Iguana Street at noon today - this man rode past. He just happens to be Sonya's son - matter of fact - she is living in his house in Ladyville. He says he's happy Boots is going to build her a house now - so he can move back to his home in Ladyville.
