A teenager was chopped and robbed in the Rivera area of Belmopan. The report is that yesterday evening around 5:30, 18 year old Jose Lopez was heading to his San Martin home on his bicycle when a black man came up to him and chopped him in the temple. The man then snatched Lopez's phone and rode off with his bike. Lopez is in a stable condition. This is just preliminary information, our information is that Lopez hasn't made an official police report as yet.
