Police have charged the man who they say knocked down 31 year old Corozaleno Armando Uitz on Saturday - leading to his death on Monday.
31 year old Olguin Elmer Hall from Ranchito Village, Corozal was slapped with a slew of charges, which include: manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, drove motor vehicle without due care and attention, failed to report an accident and failed to stop and render aid. Today Hall was arraigned in court where he was offered bail of $12 thousand dollars.
Uitz was the father of a 7 year old; his funeral was held today.
