Many times on this newscast, we've told you about the contraband hotspot named Estero, which is a about 3 miles outside of Patchakan on the banks of the Rio Hondo.
Today police were in the area doing patrols when they found a stash with (22) cases of Mexican beers, namely "Barrillito" and "Superior".
And then, at around 8:30 they saw 33 year old Bernaldo Cantun from Patchakan riding a bike. When he saw the cops, he threw away a plastic bag. When police retrieved it, they found 1.1 kilos or two and a quarter pounds of weed inside. He was arrested and charged for drug trafficking.
