On this newscast we cover a lot of scholarship ceremonies, but the I AM BELIZE program is probably one of the most unique. It reaches into the lives of kids who may not have gotten a chance to go to high school at all. As we found out today, they've got dreams to remember. Roger Bradley outlined the program:
Along with the 23 other recipients, they will be fully funded under this needs-based scholarship with books, uniforms, and tuition and have access to additional support services to push them through high school.
