Cabbies Caught With Stolen Treasures

Two taxi men are out on bail after they were found with some valuable jewelry that had been stolen from the home of an Insurance CEO.

42 year old Robert Young and 25 year old Reginald Garay, are charged with handling stolen goods. They were found with items stolen from the Baymen Avenue home of the CEO of Home Protector Insurance, Louisa Moore.

The theft happened sometime between May 21st. and July 27th when $29,220.00 in jewellery was stolen from the home.

Today, Young appeared before Magistrate, Khadeen Palmer and he was read three counts of handling stolen goods including 3 diamond rings, and a gold ring with 25 diamonds.

Garay was read also three counts of handling stolen goods for three different pieces of jewelry.

Both men pleaded not guilty and both met bail of $4,000 dollars.
