Belize Tourism industry continues to grow, and both the BTB and the Belize Hotel Association want to ensure that highly trained individuals are being groomed to take over leading positions in the industry in the years to come.
That’s why both organizations have selected 10 promising young Belizeans to sponsor the continuation of their education.
The award ceremonies for these scholarships were held today and here’s what the BTB rep. had to say about the deserving scholars who they are funding this year:
Shortly after that, we got a chance to speak with the President of the Hotel Association, and 2 of the 7 students who are receiving the scholarship funding from that organization. Here’s what they told us:
The President of the Belize Hotel Association told us that there were 15 applicants, but unfortunately, they could approve 7 for this year’s scholarship.
