On Monday we told you about 21 year old Kadeem Augustine who had been shot in the jaw in Seine Byte. At the time, police said there was some beef between rival youths. Sounds like the start of gang activity - and that's why police launched a major pre-dawn operation in the village today.
Between 3:00 and 10:00 this morning, the GSU, the MIT, the SPU and the K9 unit searched six Seine Bight homes.
They detained 13 males ranging in age from 16 to 30 years old for the shooting.
They also found three and a half ounces of weed in a refrigerator at an American woman's home. Three females - including the American - and two males were arrested for Drug Trafficking charges.
