We also spoke to Pop's co-workers at Cartridge Recycle on Neal's Pen Road. Pop had been working there since March 2017 as the cook and office cleaner. She fit right in as part of their family. We spoke to one of her colleagues who was like a daughter to her. She shared a few happy moments they had together and also how stunned she was when she found out about Pop's murder.

"Well, when she first started, she was shy I would say. There wasn't any real connection. In June I had lost my mother to leukemia. So, that is when she started to get more closer to me. She started to tease me, you know, she is going to be my mom here at work and she would tell her kids, her sons and her daughters that she has a Belize City daughter now. So, you know, that is when we started to become closer and we would run jokes more frequently. All of yesterday we were joking around and I had some butter scotch sweets on my desk and she walked in and said, 'hmm, your desk looks like it needs a little cleaning' but in reality she was moving like about three of my butterscotch sweets and we were laughing about it. So, when I heard this news, to be honest, it came as a shock, I couldn't believe at all that that is what happened to her."

"At any point did she complain that she was having trouble with anybody or that her life had been threatened?"

Ashley Foster
"Well, to my knowledge, no; not that I know of. When it comes to threatened, you know, she had her own little family issues that she had to deal with when it came to her kids but she never really made it bother her. She tried to look at the positive side of things and as far as I know she never voiced that she had received any threats."

Pop also stayed in a room at her workplace.
