At the top of the newscast, we told you about the weekend's stabbing murders. Well, there was another stabbing last night but this time in Maskall Village. Fortunately, the victim survived, and is expected to make a full recovery.
He's 20 year-old Maskall resident Samuel Torres. Police say that his friend attacked him. Apparently they had a disagreement that turned turned violent:

"Last night 10:50, police visited the KHMH where they observed one Samuel Torres, a 20 year old Belizean of Maskall Village suffering from two apparent stab wounds to the left side of his chest. He was upgraded to a stable condition, he's still there and what police has gathered so far is that some time about 8 in the night he was walking on Kiskidee Street in the Maskall Village where he was met by a friend that he knows where an exchange of words began and as a result a fight ensued between them where the friend unfortunately stabbed him twice to the left side of this chest."

"Yes the friend is from Maskall Village likewise."
Torres is expected to be discharged from the hospital shortly. The cops are looking for his attacker at this time.
