A trio of armed robbers cleaned out an elderly taxi man's home and drove off with his car. It happened in Ladyville early this morning around midnight. Ocean Jack Avenue resident 69 year old Cornelius Burke was asleep when he was awakened by someone holding his mouth and asking him where the chest is. Burke said he saw 3 armed masked men standing near him. The men then tied him up and ransacked the house for three hours. After the men dashed off, he untied himself and went to call for help. The men got away with 6 televisions, $700 in different nominations and his silver minivan.
