No Peace for Lindo’s Alley Family
posted (August 16, 2018)

Sherilee Twist and her family has gone through a lot. There still hasn’t been any closure in the case of her nephew Oswald Arnold. He went missing in May in Roaring Creek. Then, Twist’s son, Eugene Henderson Jr. died on Friday night, two months after he was shot in the head at her sister’s Roaring Creek home. Now, her husband, Eugene Henderson Sr. was shot in his arm yesterday evening at their Lindo’s Alley home. Henderson Sr. was sitting on the steps with his grandkids when the gunman came up to the gate and opened fire. Fortunately he survived the attack and he was able to shield his grandkids. He has been released from the hospital and is at home recovering. Here is what Twist had to say about all this violence plaguing her family.

Sherilee Twist - Mother
"Yesterday evening all I heard was BANG! BANG! And everybody ducked and when I come, I was right here in my room and I hear the two bangs and I hear everybody saying get down. So I ran out, I am not ducking down at all and when I run out my gentleman say “babe, I get shot, hurry call the ambulance or let them come for me."

"Where was Eugene? Outside?"

Sherilee Twist
"Yes he was outside with the two grandkids two of them because one of them wanted to go to the shop so he went to ask him for money to go to shop and he said that that is the same time that the young man come and when he saw the young man was going down (to get the gun) he turn to block the two kids and that is how he got shot in the arm and it went through the side.”

Courtney Weatherburne
"Now I know you are going through a difficult time you just lost your son and now your husband is a victim, he was targeted, why are they targeting your family? What is behind this?"

Sherilee Twist
"Well I think it is a conspiracy because the charges went up but all I have to tell them is that we are a string family and we will continue pray because God will deal with them in his own way."

As we told you, Henderson Sr. is at home recovering.
