Biking Baracat Resident Shot to the Shoulder

One other man who survived an execution attempt on his life is 21 year-old Justin Banks, a resident of Baracat Street.

Police say that at around 10 o’clock last night, they were informed of his shooting, and they found him at the KHMH suffering from a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

Today, at the police press conference, the police spokesperson told the press that at around 9:30 p.m., Banks was riding his bicycle, and when he arrived at the corner of Nurse Finley Crescent and Fabers Road 2 men rode up to him on a motorcycle and one of them opened fire on him. Here’s more from police:

"The other shooting happened, last night, just about 9:30. Mr. Justin Banks was riding his bicycle on Nurse Finley, when he was about the reach to the corn of Nurse Finley Crescent. He was approached by 2 male persons on a motorcycle; where one of the male persons from the motorcycle fired several sever shots in his direction. As a result, he received an injury to his left shoulder. He was admitted, and is in a stable condition at this moment."

"So far, we do not have any motive, and we do not have an identity of the suspect. We have spoken to the victim, but he cannot establish the reason why he was shot, and he had mentioned that he does not have any problem with anybody. So, It is something that we are still looking, if it has to be gang related or if it is something else."

Banks was admitted to the KHMH in a stable condition
