There was heavy rain across Belize over the weekend - but nowhere was it as heavy as the south where as much as 8 inches of rain fell.
On Sunday morning, the Southern Highway was flooded over at Jacintoville, which is 8 miles outside Punta Gorda Town.
But, within a few hours, the waters subsided and the area was passable again.
These drone images from PGTV also show the road to Barranco which was flooded by the rains.
