Re-Branding Galen

Apple, Coca Cola, Nike and McDonalds are just a few examples of trans national brands. Over the years, people have connected with these brands and that connection is only intensifying as these big corporations release new and improved products. Today at the Biltmore, a Las Vegas Brand Strategist Professor Bartolomeo Bialas gave a talk on strategic brand management and how Belizean businesses can work towards being successful like these big brands. Galen University along with Chamberlain Consulting partnered on this workshop and here is more.

He offered, he was visiting Belize and probably vacationing I suspect and he offered us the opportunity to have a brand strategy workshop and we thought instead of just having it at the university for our students, this was the opportune time for Galen University to step up and offer this to the community."

"Strategic brand management is a new business philosophy and it is being neglected by managers or business people around the world and it is very clear that strategic brand management is what contributes to any business success and profitability. It is a new business philosophy because it encompasses consumer psychology, consumer perception, product management, promotions, advertising so everything that communicates the value of a company is essentially strategic brand management. It is what makes consumers feel that they want to buy certain brands, what attaches them to certain brands, what creates a feeling of desire in consumers."

Bialas has consulted for a number of global corporations around the world and also has been a visiting professor at various Universities in Europe and the US.
