He was accused of sexually assaulting a 7 year old girl by fondling the child in her private parts, but, today, the charge against 60 year old Franz Hamilton was withdrawn in the # 2 Magistrate's Court. The reason? There were discrepancies in the evidence.
But the case is a little more involved, because Hamilton's bail was revoked earlier this year when he was accused of threatening the child's mother. He was charged with attempted suppression of evidence. That charge was also withdrawn.
