Human trafficking is a very weighty issue but Belizean teens were challenged to simplify it in a 1 to 3 minute video as part of the World Day against Trafficking in Persons video competition. The competition was held in honor of World Day against trafficking which was observed on July 30th.
17 year old Orange Walk resident Vince Villatoro came out on top in the competition with an interesting, well produced video which shows the plight of trafficked females. Villatoro got $500 courtesy BTB and the NCFC opened (2) $100 savings accounts for the teen at the National Bank of Belize.
