"The Mexican Interpol handed over to the Belizean authorities, Belize Interpol, Vildo Westby who was being sought by police for several months for the murder that happened in San Pedro. He is presently in police custody and police are following a procedure for him to be charged later on today."

"You all have been trying to get him from Mexico for several months. It was 8 months ago almost that he was caught in Mexico. When he returns he will be charged for murder?"

Westby - who is originally a baker of Guinea Grass Village was today officially charged with the murder of 44 year old Jose Ayuso when he appeared today before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford. Westby was remanded into custody until November 6. He was represented by attorney Dickie Bradley.
The police got him back from Veracruz, Mexico. Ayuso was the owner of a unisex salon in San Pedro.
