San Ignacio police found a large trove of high powered weapons this afternoon. AT 12:30, they conducted a search in a bushy lot in the Shawville Area of San Ignacio.
They found one - M6 Carbine LWRC with 2 magazines loaded with forty-six 5.56 rounds, one Mossberg brand pump 12 gauge pump action shotgun along with three - 12 gauge cartridges, one Glock 17 - 9 mm pistol along with a extended magazine with thirty one rounds, 1 Jericho brand 9 mm pistol with a magazine loaded with twenty rounds and 1.2 kilos or 2.6 pounds of weed. All items were labeled and deposited as found property.
And later this afternoon, Cayo cops searched a bushy area about 25 feet away from the side of Cristo Rey road and found eighty-seven 9mm rounds.
