Reports to 7News say that NICH President Sapnah Budhrani was this week placed on administrative leave. As we’ve reported, that’s a Cabinet directive after an internal audit was leaked accusing her of mismanagement.
7News has learned that in the interim, the Director of the Institute of Archeology, Dr. John Morris has been appointed to act as interim President.
It isn’t known how long he will act, but Cabinet has stated that it wants an external auditor to assess the financial goings-on at NICH before it makes a final assessment.
