Cops Have Not Closed Case On Cement Mixer Death
posted (September 6, 2018)

And police aren’t completely ruling out the family’s view on Hernandez’s case. Today at the press briefing police said they have gotten such reports and are looking into them.

ASP Alejandro Cowo - OC, CIB
"What police gathered so far is that the night before, Mr. Hernandez was cleaning the machine when the machine started and he was inside. Persons who were in the area heard him scream for help and one of his co-workers arrived and cut off the machine, that is when they noticed he was inside the machine between the blade and the metal of the cement mixer. With the assistance of the fire department and BERT Ambulance and he was able to be taken out of the mixer and he was transported to the hospital where he died later on."

"Sir in this, the family believes this wasn’t an accident and that the person who put on the machine, did it intentionally and knew he was in there, have you gotten any reports to suggest that this might be the case or you are looking into that report?"

ASP Alejandro Cowo
"We have interviewed persons working on the ground and we have recorded statements from them and yes we have a statement that we are looking at and we have forwarded the necessary documents to the DPP office for them to advise us on how to precede on this matter. It is an investigation police is still doing and we have not classified or just regard it as a sudden death. The police are still investigating."
