Taiwan Gives To Jade Exhibits

When the Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen visited in August, she was taken on a tour of the Museum of Belize. The prime attraction was the jade head. But she may have also noticed that the room could use some sprucing up. So, today the Taiwanese Embassy's second secretary dropped off a small cheque to take care of that:..

And while the Taiwanese demonstrated goodwill to a faithful ally, a Belmopan resident showed neighborliness and strong civic values to a fellow resident of the Capital.

Mas Camps, Come Een!

Tomorrow, the country's eyes will turn to Belize City for the Carnival Road March. Those who can't be here to see it can watch it on Channel 7, and the images of getting wild in the streets will no doubt fill up social media feeds for days.

And all the planning, work, energy and design that's going to be displayed on the streets tomorrow started months ago at Mas Camps all across the city. The judges and the media have been visiting those camps all this week - and here's what last night looked like:..
