A man was shot by a stray bullet this weekend. Last night at 7:00 29 year old Darryl Berry was riding his bicycle on Fabers Road when he was shot twice to the foot. Police told us it was a stray bullet from another argument unrelated to the victim:..

"On Sunday 16th September, just after 7pm, Mr. Darryl Berry, twenty-nine-year-old of Hunters Lane, was riding his bicycle heading from Faber's Road towards the George Price Highway, just before the Puma Gas station when he was approached by a short dark-skinned male person who fired several shots at his direction injuring him to the right knee and the left leg. He was treated and then he was discharged the same night. What the investigation has shown us is that there was an argument between the suspected shooter and somebody else and the person fired a shot and at the same time this person was passing and he was injured."
Police do have a suspect.
