And while police look for that pickup with a broken side mirror - in Punta Gorda, the cops came upon a stash of police uniforms in a house search. They were in possession of a special constable and the cops say they may be legit. Here's more:...
ACP Joseph Myvett - Head of National Crime Investigations Branch
"On the 22nd September sometime around 5:30am, Punta Gorda police conducted a search at the residence of Kevin Trapp, 20 year old of an Oreo Street Address in Punta Gorda. As a result a number of police uniforms were found. However, during the investigative process it is learnt that Mr. Trapp was a member of the police youth cadet corps for a while before he became a special constable. So far he has only been charged for assaulting a police officer. I do not know at the point in time whether other charges are forthcoming in relation to the uniforms."

"Even if he was some type of personnel, I am told has 6 uniform pants; 1 SPU outfit and at least a south side strike team outfit as well."
ACP Joseph Myvett
"Well the man is closely associated with the police department and has been working under several commanders in the south."
