Four organizations were awarded grants under the US Embassy's 2018 Central American Regional Security Initiative. They include Humana People to People, the Love Foundation, Research Triangle Institute International and the University of Florida which works closely with Belize. We were at the Chief of Residence in Belmopan for the handing over.
This year's initiative costs $1,261,666 US dollars. Most of the projects will be implemented over a 2 year period.
