The white man in the white van snatching kids was picked up by police and charged. He is 63 year old British national Roger Wallis. As we told you on Friday, he was positively identified in an ID parade. He has been charged with two counts of attempted kidnapping. According to reports, Wallis has been living in Belmopan for close to 15 years. Now is Wallis the elusive man behind all those white van sightings in other parts of the country? Police can't confirm that at this time but here is what they have so far.

"Police conducted an intensive investigation which resulted on the detention of one Roger Wallis, 63 year old British national. Who have since been arrested and charged for 2 counts of attempted kidnapping. He was today taken to court where he was remanded into custody until the 3rd December."

"We have gotten multiple reports over the past months of attempted abductions in a white van. Is it believe that there could be a connection between this white van and those white vans or as police treating this as separate incidents completely?"

"We do not know. But we are looking up those cases, especially those ones where reports were made to see of there is any connection whatsoever to those cases. So the investigation has not stopped there, but we are still continuing with the investigation."
As we told you, Wallis allegedly tried to kidnap an 8 year old United Evergreen student as he and his siblings were heading to their Egoli Estate home in Belmopan.
