Two men have now been charged for Christopher Meighan's San Pedro hotel room murder last Friday. They are Lalman Logan and Rufino Hernandez. According to police, the men had just met a couple days before the incident so police are still trying to piece together the motive in this case.

"Reference the murder of Christopher Meighan that happened on Friday the 28th, police arrested two individuals, the first one was arrested on Sunday 30th of September, that was Mr. Lalman Logan and thereafter on Tuesday Rufino Hernnadez was charged, both were charged jointly for the crime of murder."

"Do you have any additional information in that case, motive, the connection with these three men?"

"What I know is that both of them, Mr Logan and the deceased they had met at Caye Caulker and from there they had spent some time together on that island thereafter they moved to San Pedro where they met Mr. Rufino Hernandez, I know they were seen partying earlier on that night before the incident but as to the motive I can't tell you what was the motive behind that murder."
Hernandez who is from Ladyville - has been remanded to prison. Logan - who is a Belizean American - was arrested at the international airport tying to board a plane.
