He Stole From The Acting COMPOL

He was charged with stealing from the Acting Commissioner of Police, Edward Broaster, and today Twenty-nine year old Lloyd Lewis pleaded guilty quick, fast and hurry.

Lewis was charged with the theft of an electrical door panel from Broaster, and Magistrate Khadeem Palmer fined him $500 after he pleaded guilty to the charge. He was given until January 13, 2019 to pay.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon when Broaster got to his house on Chetumal Street and saw Lewis removing the electrical door panel from his house. He grabbed Lewis by his shirt and put him under arrest. Lewis said he thought that nobody lived at the house.

Deputy COMPOL Broaster said he and his brother were working on the house, left for lunch and came back to find the theft in progress.
