A group of Belizean parliamentarians are in the UK, visiting the cradle of Parliamentary Democracy in the Commonwealth, the Westminster Palace.
The delegation includes House Speaker, Laura Tucker Longsworth, President of the Senate, Lee Mark Chang, and Representatives, the UDP's Dr. Omar Figueroa, who is the Deputy Speaker, Beverly Williams, and the PUP's Jose Mai, and Clerk to the National Assembly, Eddie Webster,
Apart from visiting the Parliament, they have also met with representatives of Tate and Lyle Sugars - which is owned by ASR.
They are expected to observe the UK's Public Accounts Committee Evidence Session, among many other activities.
The visit is part of CPA UK and CPA Belize Parliamentary Exchange Programme.
