In 2013, the then 22 year old mother took her babies, 4 year old Triana, 3 year old Thomas, and 1 year old Trinaya out to Belizean beach and drowned three of them, while one managed to escape.
She pleaded guilty to triple manslaughter and was sentenced to 8 years in jail. Now, four years later, she is reported to be out on parole. A psychiatric evaluation at the time found that she was suffering from depression, psychosis and domestic abuse.
